Permastore tanks are of modular bolted-panel construction, vertical cylindrical construction, factory-fabricated and site-assembled.
Basic material of construction is carbon steel, with a fused finish of glass over all surfaces, internal and external. Carbon steel and glass are fused together to achieve the best properties of both – the strength and flexibility of steel combined with the high corrosion resistance of glass.
Permastore glass-fused-to-steel tanks are the appropriate solutions for use in harsh environments and for storage of corrosive liquids, besides or apart from normal raw water, waste water, industrial effluents etc.
Permastore’s range includes anaerobic digester tanks for the bio-gas and bio-energy sectors, bio-fuels tanks, tanks for petroleum and petroleum products.
Permstore, with manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom, has a track record of over fifty years, and three hundred thousand tanks installed worldwide, from 1959.
Permastore tanks are of vertical, cylindrical configuration, bolted panel type, uses factory-fabricated standard panels,, and is site-assembled using unskilled labour.
The material of construction is carbon steel, with a fused coating of glass, inside and outside.
Depending on the application, there is a choice from five different grades/types of glass coating -- Potable/drinking water, municipal sewage and sludge, industrial effluent, chemical process, chemical and industrial effluent, anaerobic or thermophilic digestion, petroleum, bio-fuel etc.
